Steel Mini Mills are taking the industry by storm. A steel mini mill is a facility that uses recycled scrap metal to produce steel products. Mini mills will melt and refine scrap steel using an EAF (electric arc furnace). The refined scrap steel can then be cast into the semi-finished or sometimes finished forms.
